hmmm... also ich ma ja extern den qualifizierten hauptschulabschluss mit, obwohl ich am gymi bin... naja, man weiß ja nie 
und auf jedenfall muss man da in englisch ein referat halten über ein beliebiges thema...
und ich hab mich halt für Robert DeNiro entschieden! 
ok, das referat brauch ich erst im juni oder juli, aber mir war halt grad langweilig, und dann hab ich mal so leicht angefangen und möchte mal euren 1.eindruck dazu wissen...
(im word siehts natürlich viel schöner aus... auch mit bild und so )

1. Robert DeNiro, the Actor
- Robert DeNiro was trained at the “Stella Adler Conservatory” in New York and got his first little role 1965 in “Three Rooms in Manhatten”.
- His first big role, where he gained much fame for, was as Johnny Boy in “Mean Streets” beneath Harvey Keitel. This was the first movie working together with the director Martin Scorsese.
- In 1974 he worked with Francis Ford Coppola at “The Godfather: Part II”. For his great performance as Vito Corleone he spent four months learning to speak Sicilian and won the Academy Award in the category “Best Supporting Actor”.
- The next two Oscar-Nominations for the “Best Actor” followed in 1976 and 1978.
In 1976 he was nominated for his role in “Taxi Driver”, the second movie he worked with Martin Scorsese. And in 1978 for “The Deer Hunter”, a movie against war.
- At his fourth work with Martin Scorsese for “Raging Bull” (1980) he gained over 60 pounds for his role as the boxer Jake LaMotta and received the Academy Award for the “Best Actor”.
- Between 1980 and 1993 he acted in a lot of movies. The most important ones are “Once Upon A Time In America” (1984), “The Untouchables” (1987),
“GoodFelllas” (1990) and “Cape Fear” (1991). “Cape Fear” was the seventh co-operation with Martin Scorsese where Robert DeNiro was nominated again for the “Best Actor”.
- Rober DeNiro’s directorial debut was in 1993 with “A Bronx Tale”, where he played also the leading role.
- In 1995 was the last movie he made together with his good friend Martin Scorse. The movie is called “Casino” and it was the 8th one he worked with him.
- His last roles where in many comedy movies like “Meet the Parents” (2000), “Showtime” (2002) and “Analyze That” (2002). |
also ich finde, dass der 1.teil doch sehr nach ner aufzählung der einzelnen filme aussieht...
im referat erwähne ich dann natürlich auch noch, wen er in "Taxi Driver" oder so gespielt hat, dass es besser klingt...
das hier wäre ja nur so ein vorzeigeblatt für den lehrer und die anderen in der klasse...
im 2.teil werd ich dann so auf deniro's familie, restaurants, etc. eingehen... oder was schlagt ihr vor?!

Der Film Mean Streats wird übrigens Mean Streets geschrieben.
Ich würde vielleicht noch bissi hervorheben, dass er auch Filme produziert (eigene Produktionsfirma).
Aber ich glaube sonst hast Du die wesentlichen Fakten zusammen.

oh, naja dass es "Streets" und nicht "Streats" heißt war nur n leichtsinnsfehler ^^
das mit der eigenen produktionsfrma und so wird im 2.teil erwähnt...
und zu the-fan.net ... ja, ich kenne die seite, hatte sie aber total vergessen ^^

ich weiß ja nicht ob es jemanden interessiert (eher nicht), aber heute hab ich das referat gehalten... und ich denk mal schlechter als eine 2 wird es nicht!

2. Some Facts about Robert DeNiro
- His father, Robert DeNiro Sr., studied with Stella Adler and Lee Strasberg.
- He first discovered his love for acting at age 10 when he portrayed the Lion in a local production of "The Wizard of Oz".
- He’s referred to as an Italian-American actor and he often plays Italian characters in films, despite the fact he is three quarters Irish.
- He formed his production company (TriBeCa Productions) in 1989 and organised the first Tribeca Film Festival in May 2002. He intended to revitalise the Lower Manhattan area after September 11th attacks.
- He got caught up 1998 in a Paris prostitution ring investigation. He was denying any involvement but never returned to France since that occurrence again.
- He is the second actor to win an Oscar for portraying Vito Corleone. He and Marlon Brando are the only two actors to win an Oscar for playing the same character.
- For his role as Vito Corleone in “The Godfather II” he spent four months learning to speak Sicilian, because nearly all the dialogue that his character spoke in the movie was in Sicilian.
- He held the World Record for the Most Weight Gained for a Movie. For his role in “Raging Bull” (1980) he gained over 60 pounds. But in 1987 Vincent D’Onofrio eclipsed him in gaining 70 pounds for his role in “Full Metal Jacket”.
- Robert DeNiro is often associated with Al Pacino. Even though the two have only ever done two films together, in which they were seen onscreen together only once.
- As the doctors diagnosed prostata cancer in October 2003, he expected to make a full recovery
- He owns and co-owns several restaurants. He owns the “Ago” in West Hollywood, co-owns the “Nobu” and “Layla” in New York and has a restaurant called “Rubicon” with Francis Ford Coppola and Robin Williams in San Francisco.
- In 1997 he was ranked #5 in Empire (UK) magazine's "The Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time" list.

Kenn ich noch aus'm Bio-Unterricht, immer alles schön für Referate abschreiben. Das Referat würde eigentlich ne 1 bringen, die fehlende Quellenangabe hat dann aber immer dafür gesorgt, dass es "nur" ne 2+ war... *g* Man will ja nicht, dass auffliegt, dass alles abgeschrieben ist.

@EZR: Eigentlich Gymnasiast... aber da es nicht so gut lief, als die Quali-Anmeldungen waren, hab ich mich angemeldet...
Naja, Quali mit 2,8 bestanden... und die 9.Klasse Gymi werd ich jetzt auch schaffen, so wie's aussieht...
